Ham and Beans

1 pound small white beans (soaked over night and drained)
Cover with 2 quarts water, add ham bone and bring to boil.
Lower heat, and simmer for 2 1/2 hours.

Remove bone


1/4 cup sweet pickle juice (or 1/4 c. vinegar and 1/8 c. sugar)
1 tsp. dry mustard
 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
